a coastal NEW ENGLAND wedding at THE CRANE ESTATE

OLD-WORLD ELEGANCE ON THE MASSACHUSETTS COAST

Isabel and Sasha brought together their European family roots and their life in New England for a celebration that felt elegant, personal and beautifully understated.

Castle Hill offered an extraordinary setting, with its historic Great House, sweeping lawns, formal gardens and the Atlantic stretching beyond the estate.

The day began in Cambridge with a ceremony at St. Paul’s Church, a meaningful return to the city where they had both studied at Harvard.

From there, the celebration moved to the coast and the entirely different landscape of the Crane Estate.

BETWEEN THE ATLANTIC AND THE ITALIAN GARDENS

For their portraits, Isabel and Sasha wanted nothing that felt staged or overly formal.

We moved through the estate with only subtle direction, allowing them to stay connected to each other while the ocean, architecture and gardens naturally became part of the photographs.

Cocktails unfolded between the Great House and its gardens, giving guests time to experience the scale and beauty of the property before dinner.

The photography remained instinctive, focused on the conversations, gestures and quiet moments happening around them.
